If you are running IDL on JAC, contact the JAC system administrators.
If you are running IDL on the PC, installation is a two-stage process & your copy hasn't been licensed - see the standard PC software website.
Check first that a known good version (e.g., that on JAC) is running OK NB the above installation web page is maintained by PC Support. If a change has been made to the license server then the license file content needs to be changed. See Adrian Talbot.
